FAQ

Is it OK to travel alone?

No worries. Costa Rica is a very safe country and once you are here we will set you up with a roommate and show you the greatest week of your life.

What should I bring?

Waterproof sunscreen, swim wear, sleep wear, toiletries, and a sun hat. Remember that this is a surf town, so most other things like jewelry and heavy clothing are best left at home! We will also supply everyone with customized jobbies rash guards.

I am a little worried as I never surfed before

Killer instructors, rolling waves and personalized service make this a fun and safe learning environment for all!

What age groups would this surf adventure cater to?

18 and older and those willing to have the adventure of a lifetime!

What kind of swimsuit do I wear?

Whatever you can move around in comfortably. Remember, you are going to be very active. Bring along a pair of boardshorts (surf trunks).

What do I need to bring?

A complete packing list will be included with your informational registration packet.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

No. We provide all the equipment, and offer the highest quality learning/performance surfboards that money can buy. You will not need to bring a wetsuit, as the water temp at all of our locations is around 80 degrees.

Everything you told us on your website would happen sounded amazing, but after the whole experience of how you made us feel at home and always laughing, was the part you have to experience and impossible to put into words except for Thank You so much for the time of our lives!— Will and Beth – Canmore, Canada
